Women’s Basketball Schedule Released

By Alex Prosperi, written on Sep. 4, 2008

Michigan head coach Kevin Borseth and the women’s basketball team are looking to finish consecutive seasons above .500 from the first time since 2002, but it won’t be easy.

After opening against Northwood on November 8 at home, Michigan faces Kentucky, Akron, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. The Aggies won 29 games last season and made the Sweet 16 along with Vanderbilt. Michigan later travels to Durham on Dec. 7 to play Duke and then heads to South Bend to take on Notre Dame on Dec. 10.

The Wolverines begin Big Ten play Dec. 21 against Ohio State before 17 more Big Ten games.
