Campbell decommits

By Dan Feldman, written on Sep. 6, 2008

William Campbell decommited from Michigan last night, according to rivals.com.

Campbell, a five-star recruit, was the Wolverines highest-rated commit and the first player to pick Michigan in the class of 2009.

Campbell plays offensive and defensive line at Cass Tech in Detroit. Most project he will play defensive tackle in college, but Michigan’s need at offensive line could push him to that side should he still choose the Wolverines.

Defensive back Justin Turner, a four-star player, is now Michigan’s highest-ranked commit in the class.
